Human Waste Management

In recent years human waste also refereed to as sewage in Sub Saharan Africa, the management practices are not uniform among developing regions, urban and rural area sectors. The waste hierarchy refers to the "3 Rs" reduce, reuse and recycling, which classify waste management strategies according to their desirability in terms of waste minimization. The waste hierarchy remains the cornerstone of most waste minimization strategies. The main cornerstone and focus on this project will be on the minimization using innovation that will focus on sustainable methods that are very much need in both urban and rural areas where according to world health organization in Africa, virtually no waste water receives treatment before it is discharged. The main aim is to address better ways to provide renewable energy with naturally available resources in this case being the human waste. Against this background, there has been a growing interest in the role the private sector could play in renewable energy generation
